Resolved: Connectivity to the Budget VPS node lax1-bv-002 in Los Angeles has been restored. If your service is still unreachable, please try restarting it from your control panel and open a support ticket if it does not come back. We will review the cause and share a follow-up if needed.

Between 02:13 and 09:02 BST on 9 October 2026, VPS services on one of our Frankfurt hypervisors were unavailable or degraded. A filesystem problem on the host stopped it working normally and needed a manual repair. The host is back online and all VPS on it are running again. If your VPS is still unreachable or you see file or disk errors, please open a support ticket. We are reviewing the cause and will take steps to prevent a repeat.

Between 11:46 and 12:01 UTC on 1 October 2026, all services hosted in our Romania location were unreachable or intermittently reachable.

What happened
A network flap on our Romania connectivity caused some routes to become inconsistent. Traffic to and from Romanian services was either dropped or sent along incorrect paths, so customers saw packet loss and timeouts.

We have identified the cause of the ongoing packet loss issue and have now fixed it.
