Romania Network Disruption
Resolved
Oct 1, 2026 at 12:40pm UTC
Between 11:46 and 12:01 UTC on 1 October 2026, all services hosted in our Romania location were unreachable or intermittently reachable.
What happened
A network flap on our Romania connectivity caused some routes to become inconsistent. Traffic to and from Romanian services was either dropped or sent along incorrect paths, so customers saw packet loss and timeouts.
Impact
All services in Romania were affected: VPS, game servers, web hosting and database nodes. Services in other locations were not affected. Most services recovered by 11:58 UTC and all services were reachable again by 12:01 UTC. No data was lost; servers kept running throughout and only network connectivity was interrupted.
Resolution
We corrected the affected routes and restored stable connectivity. The network has been stable since 12:01 UTC and we are continuing to monitor it.
Next steps
We are reviewing the routing configuration in Romania to reduce the impact of similar flaps in future.
If you are still seeing connectivity problems with a Romanian service, open a ticket and include your service IP.
